We offer an all-inclusive package covering tuition, materials, excursions, accommodation, and all meals.

Programme

Day 1

Guests are expected to arrive in the afternoon, after 2 PM. Pickup will be in Torre de Passeri

A meet-and-greet with all participants will be held at 7:30 PM, where you will be welcomed with a drink. Your tutor, Colleen, will provide an overview of the workshop content, introducing the various printmaking methods we will explore over the next six days. After a delicious dinner, you’ll have the opportunity to brainstorm ideas in preparation for your upcoming classes.

Day 2-7

This immersive Advanced Printmaking course explores the innovative world of Pronto Plate and mixed media techniques in a totally non-toxic environment. While designed primarily for artists with prior printmaking experience, beginners are also welcome and will have access to a programme tailored to their skill level. This ensures everyone can participate meaningfully and benefit from the course.

Participants will learn the intricacies of Pronto Plate, discovering how to create rich, textured prints using eco-friendly materials. Additionally, the course will cover cyanotype techniques to be applied to printmaking, enabling you to produce intricate designs and experiment with multiple layers in combination with Pronto Plate.

A highlight of the course is the opportunity to delve into papermaking, where you'll learn to produce your own paper from scratch, allowing you to print directly on your handmade creations. Through hands-on workshops and guided projects, you’ll expand your technical repertoire and creative possibilities, ultimately enhancing your personal artistic style. Whether you aim to push the boundaries of traditional printmaking or explore new artistic avenues, this course is perfect for those ready to elevate their practice to the next level.

On day four, a half-day excursion is planned to unwind and discover the beauties that Abruzzo has to offer.

Day 8

After breakfast, it will be time to say goodbye, taking home new skills and lasting memories from this enriching experience.
